New State Capital is an entrepreneurial-minded private equity firm that strives to be more nimble, more decisive, and more cooperative than larger, institutional firms.
Partners Steven Navarro, Eric Tajcher and Matthew Schernecke and associates William Barnard, Melanie Campbell, and Sarah Grimm led the Morgan Lewis team representing New State Capital.
Earlier this month, Morgan Lewis advised New State Capital in the acquisition of Mako Steel Inc. and Mako Structures Inc. Mako is one of the largest builders of self-storage facilities in the United States. Steven and Eric also led this deal team, in addition to partner Matthew Schernecke and associate Adam Benbassat.
