HONG KONG and BEIJING, April 30, 2019: Morgan Lewis has been recognized by Asian Legal Business as an adviser on its M&A Deal of the Year – Premium as part of its 2019 China Law Awards. The annual awards honor the achievements of law firms and in-house counsel in China.
The recognition relates to the firm’s work on behalf of Sequoia Capital in the consortium's $9.5 billion sale of Ele.me, one of China's largest online food delivery platforms, to Chinese ecommerce giant Alibaba. Morgan Lewis partner Ning Zhang led the representation.
