ORANGE COUNTY, January 21, 2015 – Morgan Lewis is pleased to announce the appointment of partner Ellen S. Bancroft as managing partner of the firm’s Orange County office effective immediately as the firm – now one of the largest in the world – begins a significant new chapter in 2015.
Ms. Bancroft has been recognized as one of the leading corporate advisors in Southern California, and has more than 20 years of experience in mergers and acquisitions, venture capital and private equity financings, as well as IPOs, follow-on and secondary public offerings, PIPEs, and registered offerings. She has worked on more than 70 public and private acquisitions, ranging in size from several million dollars to more than $1 billion, as well as more than 40 registered public offerings. Her practice also includes a broad range of corporate and securities transactional matters, Securities and Exchange Commission regulatory matters, New York Stock Exchange and NASDAQ listing and compliance matters, general corporate counseling, and corporate governance matters. Ms. Bancroft was previously the managing partner of the firm’s Irvine office. She earned her J.D. at Vanderbilt University Law School and her B.S. at Indiana University, Bloomington.
