Thursday, October 18, 2018

NEW YORK, October 18, 2018: BTI Consulting Group has recognized Morgan Lewis as a “Powerhouse” firm that is “leading the litigation market” in nearly every practice category in BTI Litigation Outlook 2019. BTI’s annual survey analyzes key US litigation marketplace trends and ranks law firms based on their ability to provide clients with the best counsel, results, value, and service. Morgan Lewis earned the Powerhouse ranking, BTI’s highest, in four categories this year while maintaining its Powerhouse status for Complex Employment Litigation.

The firm’s new Powerhouse rankings are for Class Action Litigation, Commercial Litigation, Complex Commercial Litigation, and Securities/Finance Litigation.

The eighth annual BTI Litigation Outlook also named Morgan Lewis to its IP Litigation Honor Roll as well as to its Most Feared Firms in Litigation Honor Roll, an exclusive list of 28 leading US law firms.

“These recognitions are particularly meaningful because they come directly from our clients and reflect the core values that guide our firm—to provide top-tier legal advice and exceptional service,” said Firm Chair Jami McKeon. “We are so thankful for our clients and the tremendous trust and confidence they place in us every day.”

With lawyers in nearly every office around the globe, litigation is Morgan Lewis’s largest practice. The litigation practice, as well as the entire firm, is consistently singled out for praise by corporate counsel in surveys and reports published by BTI Consulting, a leading provider of strategic market research to law and professional services firms. Most recently BTI recognized Morgan Lewis as the top Innovation Champion in its first-ever BTI Legal Innovation and Technology Outlook: Clients Rank Their Needs and Law Firm Performance. Morgan Lewis ranked #1 out of 52 firms described as the “definitive list of the most innovative law firms as ranked by general counsel and top legal decision makers.”
