Wednesday, June 19, 2019

NEW YORK, June 19, 2019: The Women in Law Empowerment Forum (WILEF) has recognized Morgan Lewis with Gold Standard Certification for the fifth consecutive year, naming it one of just 14 US law firms that met or exceeded all of the organization’s criteria.

WILEF recognizes with Gold Standard status major law firms that meet objective requirements concerning the number of women among equity partners, in firm leadership positions, and in the ranks of their most highly compensated partners. Morgan Lewis was recognized for its leadership in terms of the its women equity partners (including that 60% of the firm’s 2019 partnership class are women) and for exceeding all five WILEF criteria related to the percentage of women in office leadership, firm governance and compensation, as well as the percentage of women equity partners overall who identify as women of color or LGBT.

“We are proud to be a firm where women succeed at every level. Our clients have long recognized the importance of creating inclusive teams, and we share that value,” said Firm Chair Jami McKeon. “We are thrilled to be part of the positive movement captured by WILEF across the profession.”
