LONDON, January 4, 2016: Morgan Lewis has further strengthened its growing structured transactions team in London with the addition of Lisa Cargill, who focuses on securitizations and structured finance transactions. Ms. Cargill, who was previously a counsel at another global law firm, becomes the sixth new partner added to the London structured transactions team since last summer.
Ms. Cargill advises financial institutions, investment funds, and corporates. Her extensive experience covers a variety of asset classes across numerous jurisdictions, including trade receivables, auto loans and leases, residential mortgages, equipment leases, insurance premium loans, and both corporate and consumer loans originated through marketplace lending platforms.
“We look forward to Lisa advising on a broad range of structured transactions carried out by European companies,” said Firm Chair Jami McKeon. “She will also partner with our market-leading structured transaction team in the United States to help clients based there with business dealings in Europe.”
“We are quite familiar with Lisa’s work and are delighted to welcome her to our team,” said Reed Auerbach, leader of Morgan Lewis’s structured finance practice. “She fully complements and extends our services to clients in London, and we’re confident that our clients and colleagues across the firm will benefit from her market-specific knowledge and experience.”
