Tuesday, April 26, 2016

SILICON VALLEY, April 26, 2016: Tomorrow, Morgan Lewis kicks off its sixth annual Technology May-rathon, a series of more than 20 global programs dedicated to the critical issues and developments affecting organizations and individuals working in or with today’s rapidly evolving technology industry.

This year’s programming will feature experts across the firm as well as executives from tech industry leader GE and its digital arm, GE Digital, who will come together over the web and in Morgan Lewis offices around the world to share their insight. Events highlighting important critical topics such as hacking, copyright infringement, telehealth, encryption, and radio frequency spectrum and EU data regulation, will continue throughout the month of May.

“Companies in today’s technology industry face a number of emerging challenges, but with challenges come opportunities,” said Morgan Lewis partner Sarah Bouchard, a leader of the firm’s Technology Industry Initiative. “The Technology May-rathon is designed to spotlight the issues, trends and developments tech leaders need to be addressing today, and foster an exchange of ideas to successfully counter threats and capitalize on the opportunities that accompany them.”

The May-rathon begins tomorrow, Wednesday, April 27 with a discussion of the most notable intellectual property cases of 2015. The complete schedule of events can be accessed at www.morganlewis.com.
