BOSTON, September 25, 2015: Boston litigation partners Jason Pinney and Peter Pound were recently selected as Boston Rising Stars by The National Law Journal in collaboration with The Connecticut Tribune. This honor recognizes exemplary lawyers under the age of 40 in the Boston area.
Mr. Pinney focuses his practice on securities litigation. He represents broker-dealers, investment advisers, hedge funds, private equity firms, board members, and individuals in litigation, arbitrations, and regulatory investigations. Mr. Pinney has experience representing clients in federal and state court, as well as before the SEC, FINRA, and several state securities agencies. He also has experience advising clients on securities laws and regulations, including research analyst rules, public funds laws and wire fraud.
Mr. Pound focuses his practice on securities regulatory matters, litigation and arbitration, and internal investigations. He represents broker-dealers, financial services firms, and individuals in civil litigation matters and arbitration proceedings relating to securities issues, and in connection with investigations and enforcement proceedings brought by the SEC, FINRA, or state regulators. Mr. Pound conducts internal investigations on behalf of management or independent directors or trustees. He also counsels clients on a wide variety of regulatory, compliance, and corporate governance issues.
The honorees will be profiled in a supplement to the National Law Journal on November 9, and recognized at an event in Boston on November 12.
