Thursday, March 2, 2017

WASHINGTON, March 1, 2017: Morgan Lewis partner Duke McCall has authored the fourth edition of the Clean Water Handbook. The guide, updated for the first time since 2003, addresses new developments related to the Clean Water Act and provides environmental professionals with a comprehensive roadmap to the requirements, legal interpretations, and critical issues of water pollution control law.

The handbook pairs the legal text of the Clean Water Act with expert interpretation that environmental professionals need to understand their companies' responsibilities under the law and how to fulfill them. Each chapter of the handbook is dedicated to a major component of the Clean Water Act and provides readers with detailed examinations of the history and requirements of the various water programs.

Mr. McCall focuses his practice on environmental law and complex litigation. He represents clients in contribution actions, enforcement proceedings, citizen suits, toxic tort litigation, and regulatory matters, including actions brought under the Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation, and Liability Act (Superfund), the Clean Water Act, the Clean Air Act, the Resource Conservation and Recovery Act, and analogous state laws.

A frequent speaker and author of numerous articles covering a variety of environmental law matters, Mr. McCall also penned the Clean Water Act chapter of the Environmental Law Handbook published by Government Institutes, served on the Editorial Board of the Environmental Liability, Enforcement & Penalties Reporter, and is a member of Law360’s Environmental Editorial Advisory Board.
