WASHINGTON, DC, September 17, 2019: Morgan Lewis partner and Director of Workplace Culture Consulting Chai Feldblum has been appointed a public member of the Administrative Conference of the United States (ACUS). The ACUS is an independent federal agency that promotes efficiency, participation, and fairness in the promulgation of federal regulations and in the administration of federal programs.
“It is an honor to be selected as a public member of the ACUS,” Chai said. “During the time I served as a government member while at the EEOC, I was able to see firsthand the important and sophisticated work done by the ACUS. I am grateful to be given the opportunity to contribute once again to the ACUS’s important work and to be part of a community of administrative law experts.”
Prior to joining Morgan Lewis, Chai served as a commissioner of the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) from 2010–2019. She co-led the Select Task Force on the Study of Harassment in the Workplace and co-authored a groundbreaking report on harassment prevention released in June 2016.
Morgan Lewis partner Fred Fielding is a Senior Fellow at the ACUS. He served as a public member from 1986–1994 and as the agency’s special counsel from 1981–1986.
