Morgan Lewis Recognized as Leader in Diversity and Inclusion by Morgan Stanley

NEW YORK, November 14, 2017: Morgan Lewis recently was named this year’s recipient of Morgan Stanley’s prestigious Leadership and Excellence in Inclusion and Diversity award. The firm was chosen for its commitment and contributions to advancing diversity and inclusion in the legal profession, and its demonstrated innovation and progress in enhancing opportunities for diverse attorneys in every aspect of their careers, including recruitment, retention, advancement, promotion, access and exposure to partners and clients, and networking and business development opportunities. The firm also was recognized for its efforts to create workplace policies and programs that support diversity and inclusion, such as our Return to Work Policy, our Ramp Up and Remote Working Programs, and our sponsorship of affinity and networking groups designed to enhance community, understanding, and networking and business development opportunities for diverse attorneys.

Morgan Stanley’s Legal and Compliance Division hosted the award reception at Morgan Stanley’s New York office on November 1. Eric Grossman, Morgan Stanley’s chief legal officer, presented the award to Morgan Lewis partner Drew Schaffran, who accepted the award on the firm’s behalf. Mr. Schaffran was accompanied at the reception by Morgan Lewis lawyers J. Goodwin Bland, Missy Hill, Melissa Rodriguez, Conrad Bolston, and Amy Greer.
