BOSTON, February 9, 2016: Morgan Lewis and the British American Business Council of New England (BABCNE) in conjunction with the Global Business Alliance of New England (GBANE) are hosting an International Business Forum and Networking event Wednesday evening, February 17.
The session, “Open for Business: ‘Round the World in Three Minutes’,” will feature 11 international diplomats discussing the benefits of doing business in their respective countries. The event will also include an update on Massachusetts economic indicators from Professor Michael Goodman of UMass Dartmouth.
Approximately 250 executives from New England companies involved in international business are expected to attend the event, which will also feature exhibits presented by multiple trade associations and government agencies. Morgan Lewis Boston co-office managing partner Joanne Foley and partner Peter Pound will speak during the event as well.
Participating Consuls General include Susie Kitchens (United Kingdom), David Alward (Canada), Valery Freland (France), Fionnuala Quinlan (Ireland), Yehuda Yaakov (Israel), Felix Moesner (Switzerland), Glivania Maria de Oliveira (Brazil), Song-jun Ohm (South Korea), Tsutomu Himeno (Japan), and Deputy Consuls General Helmut Landes (Germany) and Graciela Gomez-Garcia (Mexico).
