The annual report highlighted the firm’s work for advising the underwriters of a $250 million bond issuance for the first Overseas Private Investment Corporation-insured central spent nuclear fuel storage facility in Ukraine, which is expected to save tens of millions a year for Ukraine's nuclear power operator, and decrease its reliance on Russia for the safe disposal of spent fuel. It also showcased two technological developments: the firm’s development of a #MeToo bot, which is an algorithm that quickly sorts through volumes of digital information to identify data that requires further investigation; and data visualizations of attorney and staff work that identified trends within the firm’s own work structure.
