LONDON, July 8 2014: Global law firm, Morgan Lewis today announced that it has advised Gentex Corporation on the acquisition of Helmet Integrated Systems Limited [HISL].
Gentex is a global leader in integrated helmet systems for defence and security personnel, headquartered in Carbondale, Pennsylvania. HISL is an established provider of helmets, communications equipment and respiratory protection for civil, defence, security and industrial personnel.
Gentex and HISL will combine their world-class products, technologies, and manufacturing resources to provide customers with one of the most advanced, comprehensive lines of integrated helmet, respiratory and communications systems in the market.

HISL will operate as a UK subsidiary of Gentex Corporation with K. Jan Korny continuing to serve as managing director of HISL, reporting to Frieder.
Lawyers from Morgan Lewis’ London, Philadelphia and Paris offices assisted with the transaction, with support from the firm’s other US offices.
