PHILADELPHIA, March 14, 2014: Morgan Lewis is pleased to announce that Business and Finance Partner Steve Jannetta was awarded the President’s Service Award at the Pennsylvania Bio (PA Bio) Annual Dinner and Awards Celebration on March 12. The President’s Service Award recognizes a PA Bio member who has made significant contributions to the organization through volunteering time, leadership, and energy to advance PA Bio’s mission of creating a cohesive community that unites Pennsylvania’s biotechnology, medical device, diagnostic, pharmaceutical, research and financial strengths.
PA Bio is a statewide trade association representing the life sciences industry. Mr. Jannetta has been an active member of the PA Bio board of directors for six years. He chaired the organization’s most recent annual biotech conference, called Life Sciences Future, which was held in November 2013.
Mr. Jannetta is a deputy practice group leader for Morgan Lewis’s Business and Finance Practice, and he regularly represents medical device, biotech, healthcare, and technology companies in all phases of their life cycle, including capital raising, licensing, debt finance, and mergers and acquisitions transactions.
