Friday, April 11, 2014

PHILADELPHIA, April 11, 2014: Morgan Lewis is pleased to announce that Litigation Practice partner and Chair-elect Jami McKeon has been elected a member of The American Law Institute (ALI). Jami is one of 61 outstanding judges, lawyers, and law professors whose election will be officially announced on Monday, April 14. She is part of an impressive group that continues the institute’s strong tradition of finding the best and most accomplished individuals working in the law, according to ALI.

“The election of a new class of members is always a key moment for the ALI,” said ALI President Roberta Cooper Ramo.“ The work we do depends on finding the most accomplished and respected lawyers, judges, and scholars who are willing to give generously of their time because of the importance of our projects."

The ALI is the leading independent organization in the United States producing scholarly work to clarify, modernize, and improve the law. By participating in the ALI’s work, its members have the opportunity to influence the development of the law in both existing and emerging areas, to work with other eminent lawyers, judges, and academics, to give back to a profession to which they are deeply dedicated, and to contribute to the public good, according to ALI.
