Morgan Lewis partner Andy Ray is quoted in an article by Corporate Counsel regarding the US Senate Committee on Banking, Housing and Urban Affairs hearing to inform Congress’s understanding of blockchain technology. Ray states in the article that Congress is “starting to educate themselves in the way that regulators have been educating themselves and the more established financial institutions and technology providers have been educating themselves,” however, “I think we’re in the extreme early innings when it comes to some sort of federal legislative action.”
