Import Issues in U.S. Government Contracting

February 27, 2014

When procuring products, governments have shown a preference for domestically produced goods. This one hour webinar reviewed the different regimes that may apply to government contracting, their statutory frameworks, and the differences between the restrictions imposed under each of the regimes.

This webinar was the second session of our three-part series focused on issues in imports and customs. Our panelists discussed contractors’ obligations and liabilities as well as the available enforcement mechanisms, and concluded with guidance on what pitfalls to avoid and best practices and procedures for compliance.
