It appears that the final credit risk retention rules for securitizations will be published in the Federal Register tomorrow, December 24.
Because the compliance dates for these rules are set by reference to their Federal Register publication, the compliance date for asset-backed securities collateralized by residential mortgages will be December 24, 2015, and the compliance date for all other classes of asset-backed securities will be December 24, 2016.
