With several liquefied natural gas export terminals proposed for the Texas Gulf Coast, Houston is near the epicenter of the burgeoning U.S. LNG export revolution. However, with major delays in natural gas export approval from the Department of Energy, the energy industry is uncertain to what extent the U.S. can obtain a significant toehold in the global LNG market.
