By a ruling of January 14, 2016, the Paris Court of Appeal confirms a well-established case law whereby a partial sudden termination of an established business relationship cannot be held against a business partner which has passed on to its contractor a decrease in orders that it was suffering itself due to the current economic situation.
The introduction of this ruling lies in the fact that a total sudden termination of an established business relationship is not characterised when the business relationship is transferred to another party with the tacit or express agreement of the initial business partner.
