Topics included:

  • Developing a robust program to recruit, screen, and select veterans with the skill sets that the technology industry needs
  • Complying with Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 and state employment laws 
  • Training human resources and hiring managers on rolling out a veterans hiring program, including Equal Employment Opportunity Commission guidance on hiring wounded warriors and related disability accommodations issues
