It has been six months since the US Supreme Court’s much-anticipated decision in Spokeo Inc. v. Robins. The decision immediately sparked predictions in the class action bar as to the future of statutory damage claims in consumer class actions. And that issue is being vigorously litigated in federal courts throughout the country. This article takes stock of the decision’s initial impact and some trends observed to date.
