Grigory Marinichev
Grigory Marinichev represents international lenders and borrowers in prepayment finance, asset-based lending, structured finance, syndicated lending, debt restructuring transactions, and insolvency matters. Grigory advises clients in the metals, mining, telecommunications, commodities, oil and gas, and power generation industries on a range of financial transactions—from syndicated and bilateral credit facilities, refinancing, and bond issues to export financing, loans, and loan restructurings. He represents and advises project sponsors, export credit agencies, and multilateral financial institutions. Grigory also regularly advises clients on sanctions and regulatory matters. Grigory is registered as a Foreign Legal Consultant in New York, and is admitted in California, England & Wales, Hong Kong, and the Russian Federation only.
- Acted for Macquarie Commodities Trading in connection with an exclusive master services and marketing agreement with Transition Industries LLC for its Pacifico Mexinol project, a 6,145 metric tons-per-day methanol production facility in Sinaloa, Mexico
- Acted for a syndicate of banks arranged by ING and UniCredit on an up to $1 billion pre-export financing to a major fertilizer producer
- Advised a global metals producer on a $750 million syndicated pre-export facility arranged by UniCredit

- Advised a major bank on a $115 million equivalent financing for the acquisition of an IT company providing B2B cloud solutions
- Acted for HSBC on a $100 million revolving credit facility to a major fertilizer producer
- Advised a real estate developer on a joint venture for the development of a new real estate project in the UAE
- Advised a Singapore oil trader on two joint ventures in the UAE for the development of an oil terminal and trading in crude oil
- Acted for a major Swiss oil trader on a profit-sharing arrangement with a Hong Kong oil trading house
- Acted for a private UAE bank in connection with a prepayment financing for a leading Indian producer
- Acted for a UAE state-owned conglomerate on a multibillion-dollar syndicated facility from one of the largest state-owned banks in the United Arab Emirates
- Acted for a Singaporean subsidiary of a major international trading house in connection with a facility from a syndicate of Asian and UAE banks to finance deliveries under an export contract with an Indian refinery
- Acted for an international real estate developer on the establishment of its presence in the United Arab Emirates and, in particular, the construction of a flagship residential project in Dubai Internet City, including financing and real estate development arrangements
- Acted for a syndicate of banks in connection with an up to $2.3 billion equivalent multicurrency project financing for the construction of a mining and processing complex
