In a relatively brief period, the oil and gas investment landscape has shifted enormously. Asset valuations in the upstream and parts of the midstream have plummeted and sales have been canceled. Many investors have been on the sidelines, raising funds and looking at opportunities but waiting for “bottom” to occur before jumping in.
