Center for Strategic and International Studies Task 1.5 Allied Forum on Investment

International trade partner Giovanna M. Cinelli spoke at the Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS) Task 1.5 Allied Forum on Investment. Giovanna discussed the Committee on Foreign Investment in the United States (CFIUS), the statutory implications of the pending legislation and the interplay between US export control laws and proposed CFIUS legislation.

Attendees included experts from the Center for Strategic and International Studies, representatives of the Departments of Justice, Defense, Commerce and Treasury and members of the Embassy staffs from Canada, the UK, New Zealand, Australia, and Japan. The forum is part of an ongoing CSIS series to address issues critical to national security and technology transfer.
