John Lavelle will speak at the MedTech Summit in Brussels on June 12, in a segment called “Understanding the classification of borderline products and associated legal issues.” Topics will include: exploring the draft decisions from the EU Commission on how to classify a borderline product; overcoming the challenge when a product is marketed as a non-medical device but turned into a medical device by users; and reviewing differing approaches between different Member States.
