Morgan Lewis and the National Bar Association-Commercial Law Section invite you to this CLE program. This course will discuss stablecoins and smart contracts in the context of commercial transactions, with a particular focus on UCC rules.
The discussion will include the current regulatory framework around stablecoins and CBDCs and how it impacts financial transactions. With the recent surge of ransomware attacks and the adoption of cryptocurrency in the legitimate economy, we will also address risks, new laws, and what can be done to ensure hackers find it more difficult to profit from attacks.
