Financial Information Forum's Presentation on the SEC's ATS Proposal

Investment management partner Ignacio Sandoval and associate Kyle Whitehead presented on February 15 to the Financial Information Forum (FIF) membership on the SEC’s proposal to expand the definition of “exchange” and bring additional trading and messaging platforms under Regulation ATS, including request-for-quote (RFQ) platforms, indication-of-interest platforms (IOI), digital asset platforms, and other messaging platforms.

FIF is an industry trade group comprised of over 100 broker-dealers, exchanges, and financial technology vendors.  Attendees of the presentation included representatives from over 40 firms, including a “who’s who” of the financial industry and many Morgan Lewis clients. Ignacio and Kyle will be giving a "Part 2" presentation to FIF on March 1.
