Morgan Lewis Advises MetroCast, Harron Communications in $200 Million Sale to Atlantic Broadband

PHILADELPHIA, June 8, 2015: Morgan Lewis advised MetroCast Communications of Connecticut, LLC (MetroCast Connecticut) and its parent Harron Communications, L.P. in the sale of MetroCast Connecticut to Atlantic Broadband, a subsidiary of Cogeco Cable Inc. The transaction was announced today and is valued at $200 million. The purchase price is subject to customary closing adjustments.

MetroCast Connecticut's network passes close to 70,000 homes and businesses across nine communities in eastern Connecticut. Atlantic Broadband is the 13th largest cable operator in the United States.

The Morgan Lewis team advising MetroCast Connecticut and Harron Communications was lead by partner Richard Aldridge. Assisting with the transaction were partners Christopher Amandes, Paul Gordon, Harry Robins, and Patrick Rehfield; as well as associates Andrew Mariniello, Douglas Kingston, Kevin Delaney, Vivian Kim, and Carly Grey.
