Morgan Lewis partner and former Assistant US Attorney Tinos Diamantatos comments on the findings of a report issued by the US Department of Justice following a 13-month review of the Chicago Police Department.
The report reveals a pattern of unconstitutionally excessive and deadly force exercised by the department. “That type of criticism from top down, in other words, it's not just one or two isolated incidents or some rogue police officers breaking the law, this is a criticism of the entire police department and that it's systemic," said Mr. Diamantatos in an interview with ABC 7 Chicago.
