Washington, DC, June 6, 2017: Morgan Lewis partner Kirstin Gibbs has been named to The National Law Journal’s 2017 list of Energy & Environmental Trailblazers.
Ms. Gibbs’ work on behalf of shippers and her experience dealing with the complex regulatory environment surrounding natural gas earned her the honor. Her representation of energy companies engaged in activities to import foreign-sourced liquefied natural gas to the United States, and now to export US-produced natural gas to global destinations, has had a major impact on energy policy and the natural gas industry as a whole.
The Energy & Environmental Trailblazer award honors the top 50 energy and environmental professionals across the United States, highlighting lawyers whose accomplishments place them at the highest rung of advancing the law in the energy and environmental sector. Ms. Gibbs was selected from a competitive field of nominees for leaving her mark on the United States' energy regulation, policy, and law. She and the other honorees are profiled in today’s issue of The National Law Journal.
