SILICON VALLEY, April 25, 2018: For its eighth consecutive year, Morgan Lewis examines the most critical issues and developments affecting businesses and professionals working in or with today’s rapidly evolving technology industry in a month-long series of more than 30 global webinars and in-person programs.

This year’s May-rathon programming covers timely topics including fundraising for cryptocurrency, new challenges in cybersecurity, why the GDPR is relevant to your US company, regulatory changes in tax and employment law, dominating litigation in a digital society, and digital health privacy. More than 60 Morgan Lewis lawyers across a number of the firm’s US offices, as well as from Singapore, Shanghai, Hong Kong, Moscow, London, and Dubai will share insight on a wide swath of relevant matters, from technology transactions and outsourcing to patent strategy and litigation.

“This extensive series of programs is designed to touch many industries, with information to help leaders stay on top of opportunities and protect against threats,” said Dion M. Bregman, co-leader of the firm’s Technology Industry Initiative. “We are pleased to continue expanding our annual program that provides a comprehensive look at the most relevant topics shaping today’s evolving tech industry and technology-related legal issues faced by all of our clients.”

The May-rathon begins May 1 from the firm’s Silicon Valley office with an overview of the use of artificial intelligence in the legal realm.
