WASHINGTON, DC, August 1, 2019: Morgan Lewis represented QxBranch, a quantum computing and data analytics software startup, in its sale to Rigetti Computing, a pioneer in hybrid quantum-classical computing systems. The acquisition builds on Rigetti's full-stack strategy and expands the company's ability to deliver quantum algorithms, solutions, and services.
The Morgan Lewis team was led by partner Andrew Ray and associate Benjamin Stein, with assistance from London-based partner Iain Wright and associate James Parson, employee benefits guidance from partner Patrick Rehfield and associate Samuel Bryant, and tax support from partner James Bridgeman and associate Jeffrey Funston.
