Morgan Lewis’s recent investigation of sexual harassment, racism, and discrimination against the LGBTQ+ community at Hebrew Union College-Jewish Institute of Religion was featured in Forward. Partners Grace Speights and Sharon Masling conducted the investigation on behalf of the Institute and made a series of recommendations to improve workplace culture, ranging from establishing a “truth and reconciliation process” to allow individuals to share stories of mistreatment at the school, to severing relationships with synagogues where rabbinical students were treated inappropriately.
