The US Trade Representative (USTR) has published its annual report on trade and investment barriers to US exports in key markets (National Trade Estimate Report - NTE). The 540-page report presents trade and investment barriers to US exports in key markets, including: in the EU, China, Mexico and Canada. The NTE is the US government's most important annual report on the barriers to trade, investment and services facing US and other companies around the world. The USTR believes that the implementation of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) could lead to trade barriers for US companies in the EU.
