Grant W. Eskelsen counsels the nuclear industry on transactional and regulatory approvals. He routinely counsels clients on compliance with nuclear-export related matters, including 10 CFR Part 810 and 10 CFR Part 110. Grant has advised clients in the nuclear industry on structuring transactions to comply with the Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) and Agreement State regulations, including helping obtain consent for transactions. He supports clients in claims against the government for its ongoing failure to accept spent fuel from utilities. Grant also advises clients on planning for and conducting decommissioning.
Before joining Morgan Lewis, Grant clerked at the United States Court of Federal Claims. At the Court of Federal Claims, he was responsible for advising three judges on complex civil litigation, including takings cases brought under the Fifth Amendment to the United States Constitution, tax refund suits, government contracts under the FAR and other regulations, and bid protests.
