Morgan Lewis partner Mary Hevener will present "Tax Issues—Worker Clarification Issues and Independent Contractors" at the 64th Annual Virginia Conference on Federal Taxation.
A survey of the tests for identifying workers as employees or contractors, of the "Moratorium" (applicable since 1978), of possible IRS and Congressional changes to the Moratorium, and of audit and litigation issues (including Tax Court jurisdiction issues).
