2016 Technology May-rathon: Wondering in Alice-Land: Effects of Restrictions on Patent-Eligible Subject Matter

This program will summarize recent developments in the law of patent-eligible subject matter under Alice, as it has been applied by the USPTO, district courts around the country, and the US Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit.

We will discuss the current trends and statistics concerning how Alice is being applied and interpreted, as well as potential strategies for how to avoid or overcome rejections under 35 USC § 101.
