Morgan Lewis is a sponsor of the Bar Association of San Francisco’s Barristers 2020 Diversity Conference, which aims to deepen the awareness and engagement of diversity, equity and inclusion efforts in the legal industry.

Litigation partner Joan Haratani will speak on a panel titled “COVID-19 & The Legal Industry: Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Efforts in a Time of Economic Crisis.” The session will address how the pandemic and associated economic crisis will impact the legal industry’s diversity and inclusion efforts, and why underrepresented groups are disproportionally affected by the measures organizations and law firms take to withstand a crisis.
