The Biden administration has promised to significantly revise and reinvigorate the nation’s environmental justice policy. This webinar will examine the application of environmental justice policies in various areas, such as cleanup activities under the Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation, and Liability Act (CERCLA or Superfund) and environmental review, siting, and permitting processes under the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA). Panelists will also address the role of external stakeholders and communities in influencing environmental justice policy, and the revitalization of Supplemental Environmental Projects (SEPs) as an alternative offering in settlement solutions.
