Remote Employees and Return to Work: Tax and Benefit Issues

Remote employees present unique tax implications for both employee and employer. Additionally, as many employees return to work or begin working in a hybrid remote work arrangement, employers should be aware that these remote working conditions may inadvertently trigger federal, state, international, and/or benefits issues for their business. This presentation will discuss the tax and benefit issues facing companies dealing with remote work.
