MIAMI, March 22, 2018: Minority Corporate Counsel Association (MCCA) has named Morgan Lewis partner Anne Marie Estevez among its 2018 list of Rainmakers, which honors exceptional diverse lawyers whose business acumen, passion, pro bono work, and dedication to proactive client development has set them apart as leaders. Ms. Estevez is one of 11 lawyers recognized nationwide.
A partner in the firm’s labor and employment practice, Ms. Estevez defends clients in complex, class, and collective action employment, Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), public accessibility, and consumer class action cases in US federal and state courts. Fluent in Spanish, she represents a broad range of US and international clients in employment and labor-based cases nationally, from wage and hour to discrimination to trade secrets litigation. She also serves as co-leader of Morgan Lewis's retail & ecommerce industry initiative. In addition to her private practice, Ms. Estevez is general counsel to the Congressional Hispanic Caucus Institute, a nonprofit and nonpartisan organization that educates, empowers, and connects the MCCA to Latino youth by providing leadership development programs and educational services.
