2020年3月23日

WASHINGTON, DC, March 23, 2020: Morgan Lewis is recognized as a global International Trade Commission (ITC) leader in the 2020 ITC Intelligence Report, the recently released, first-ever ranking of the law firms, lawyers, and companies involved in Section 337 ITC cases by analytics-based intellectual property company Patexia. The rankings are based on ITC case filing activity and performance during the past six years.

Morgan Lewis’s ITC team was ranked among the Top 25 Most Active ITC Law Firms for Representing Respondents and the Top 25 Best Performing ITC Law Firms for Representing Complainants, both out of 100 law firms ranked. Additionally, the team’s members, including partner Eric Namrow, who leads the firm’s ITC practice, and associates Riccardo Macchiaroli and Stephanie Roberts, were recognized in the Top 100 Most Active ITC Attorneys and Best Performing ITC Attorneys categories. Of note, Eric and Riccardo were ranked among the top 25 out of the Top 100 Most Active ITC Attorneys Representing Respondents.

To determine its rankings, Patexia tracked the 308 ITC Section 337 cases filed from January 1, 2014, to December 1, 2019. Patexia then evaluated the activity of more than 7,500 attorneys, nearly 400 law firms, and 1,600 companies in that time period.

Morgan Lewis’s global ITC team offers litigation capability and scientific depth on behalf of clients in the fast-paced, high-stakes proceedings before the ITC. Most recently, the team was recognized by Law360 as a 2019 Intellectual Property Group of the Year and by The American Lawyer as 2019 Intellectual Property Litigation Department of the Year.
