Partner Tinos Diamantatos was named to Crain’s Chicago Business’s list of Notable Litigators and Trial Attorneys for 2023. In a profile, the publication noted Tinos’s leadership of trial teams in cases involving multibillion-dollar exposure—including drugmaker Teva—where he negotiated a settlement with the Rhode Island attorney general following jury selection.
The publication also highlighted his team’s defense of a class action alleging violations of the Illinois Biometric Information Privacy Act that resulted in a $228 million verdict—now under appeal—against client BNSF Railway—a sum lower than the billions sought by plaintiffs.
