Morgan Lewis partners Giovanna Cinelli and Kenneth Nunnenkamp contributed to “The U.S. Defense Industrial Base: Can It Compete in the Next Century?”, a collaboration between NSI (National Security Institute) and Duco. The report surveyed more than 100 national security experts on critical national security and geopolitical issues and the House- and Senate passed versions of the National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2021, including on how the US Defense Department can work with the commercial sector to protect supply chains and access dual-use technologies and innovation, and presents their key findings and advice on how the country can maintain its technological edge.
