Kathleen M. Martin
Kathleen M. Martin advises clients on a broad range of sophisticated commercial real estate transactions, with a particular emphasis on commercial leasing in New York City. She represents landlords and tenants in complex lease transactions involving office, retail, industrial, warehouse, and other commercial properties. Kathleen also advises clients on transactions involving high-end residential properties. Her practice encompasses acquisitions and dispositions, acquisition financing and refinancing, sale-leasebacks, leasing, and other agreements relating to real estate.
Kathleen handles corporate real estate transactions in New York City and on a national scale. She advises private equity investors, owners and operators, lending institutions, energy companies, hotels, restaurant and supermarket chains, independent fiduciaries, real estate investment trusts (REITs), real estate developers, manufacturing companies, and family offices. Kathleen helps clients navigate complex agreements relating to the acquisition, disposition, leasing, and financing of individual properties and real estate portfolios, including bulk portfolios and multibillion-dollar financing agreements and acquisitions.
Kathleen practices in the firm’s New York and Miami offices. She previously served as an adjunct professor at the University of Miami School of Law.
