Neal A. Gordon is an associate in Morgan Lewis's Tax Practice. Mr. Gordon focuses his practice on international tax planning and controversy. He represents clients in both the outbound operations of U.S. multinationals and the inbound operations of foreign multinationals. Mr. Gordon regularly handles transfer pricing matters, transfers and licenses of intellectual property, the structuring of mergers and acquisitions, internal restructurings and operations, and joint ventures. He also represents clients in audits and appeals before the Internal Revenue Service.
Prior to joining Morgan Lewis, Mr. Gordon was a tax associate at a national law firm.
Mr. Gordon received his J.D., magna cum laude, from Duke University School of Law in 2001, where he was named to the Order of the Coif. He received his B.A. from Yale University in 1998.
Mr. Gordon lectures to professional and industry groups on various topics, such as the provisions of subpart F, transfer pricing, and double taxation conventions.
Mr. Gordon is admitted to practice in California.
