Sameer V. Mohan currently serves as deputy leader of the firm’s global corporate and business transactions practice, while concurrently serving as office leader of the Houston and Dallas corporate and business transactions practice. Sameer maintains a broad-based domestic and cross-border corporate and transactional practice across various industries including energy, life sciences and healthcare, manufacturing, technology, and sports. He represents public and private companies, including private equity funds and their portfolio companies, in complex transactions involving major infrastructure projects and joint ventures, with a primary focus on strategic mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures.

  • Trillium Flow Technologies in its acquisition of Coulter Valve Service, a specialty valve field services provider
  • BP Products North America in its joint acquisition with ArcLight Capital Partners LLC of all of the outstanding shares of Thorntons Inc., a gasoline and convenience store chain with more than 190 locations in Florida, Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Ohio, and Tennessee
  • Trillium Flow Technologies, a portfolio company of private equity firm First Reserve, in its acquisition of Termomeccanica Pompe, a supplier of related spare parts as well as the related maintenance and after-sales services
