Stefanie Moll is a partner in Morgan Lewis's Labor and Employment Practice. She is the leader of the Labor and Employment Practice in the Houston office, and she also serves as the hiring partner for that office. Ms. Moll focuses her practice on employment litigation in federal and state courts and in arbitration. She has experience litigating on behalf of management in a variety of employment law disputes and in all types of discrimination claims, including, among others, claims involving workers' compensation retaliation, sexual harassment, race, national origin, sex, pregnancy, age, and disability discrimination. Ms. Moll also regularly represents employers in FLSA collective actions involving misclassification and off the clock claims. Also, Ms. Moll has experience litigating ERISA denial of benefits claims, FMLA and WARN Act claims, state law wrongful termination claims, and claims involving whistleblower allegations.
In addition to her litigation practice, Ms. Moll provides advice to clients on employment-related matters such as reduction-in-force (RIF) planning, policy development, non-competition matters, and employee discipline issues. Ms. Moll is a frequent speaker and trainer on workplace investigations, harassment, hiring and firing guidelines, best employment practices, and case law updates. Ms. Moll's clients include oil and gas services providers, financial services providers, healthcare providers, staffing agencies, retailers, and electric providers. Prior to joining Morgan Lewis, Ms. Moll was a partner in the Houston office of a national labor and employment firm.
Ms. Moll earned her J.D. from the University of Texas School of Law in 1997 and her B.A., magna cum laude, in English from the University of Pennsylvania in 1994.
Ms. Moll is admitted to practice in Texas and before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit and the U.S. District Courts for the Northern, Eastern, Southern, and Western Districts of Texas.
